FAQ

Common questions

Don’t see your question? Ask us directly.

What is the difference between double- and triple-pane windows?

Double-pane windows have two glass panes and one sealed space; triple-pane windows have three panes and two spaces. Compare the complete window's thermal rating, frame and glazing specification alongside cost and the needs of each room.

What do Low-E glass and argon do?

Low-E coatings help limit heat transfer through the glass. Argon is an insulating gas used between panes. Available coatings, gas fills and performance ratings depend on the selected window model.

Can I buy windows with installation included?

Yes. We offer residential window supply and installation, from individual replacements to whole-house projects. We can also discuss supply-only requirements.

Do I need a full-frame replacement?

That depends on the condition of the existing frame and opening. We assess them during measurement and explain whether a retrofit or full-frame replacement is suitable.

How much will replacement windows cost, and how long will it take?

Size, style, glazing, window count and installation scope all affect price and timing. Your quote confirms product specifications, availability, installation scope and applicable warranty terms before you proceed.

Will new windows eliminate condensation?

Condensation depends on indoor humidity, ventilation, outdoor temperature and window performance. New glazing cannot guarantee condensation-free glass. Moisture between sealed panes should be assessed separately from moisture on the room-side surface.
